ParametersReturns
slow(t)

Label a test as 'slow'.

The exact definition of a slow test is obviously both subjective and hardware-dependent, but in general any individual test that requires more than a second or two should be labeled as slow (the whole suite consists of thousands of tests, so even a second is significant).

Parameters

t : callable

The test to label as slow.

Returns

t : callable

The decorated test t.

deprecated

This decorator is retained for compatibility with the nose testing framework, which is being phased out. Please use the nose2 or pytest frameworks instead.

Examples

from numpy.testing import *

@dec.slow def test_big(self): print('Big, slow test')

See :

Local connectivity graph

Hover to see nodes names; edges to Self not shown, Caped at 50 nodes.

Using a canvas is more power efficient and can get hundred of nodes ; but does not allow hyperlinks; , arrows or text (beyond on hover)

SVG is more flexible but power hungry; and does not scale well to 50 + nodes.

All aboves nodes referred to, (or are referred from) current nodes; Edges from Self to other have been omitted (or all nodes would be connected to the central node "self" which is not useful). Nodes are colored by the library they belong to, and scaled with the number of references pointing them
