matplotlib 3.5.1

Other ParametersParameters

For the cursor to remain responsive you must keep a reference to it.

Other Parameters

**lineprops :

.Line2D properties that control the appearance of the lines. See also ~.Axes.axhline .

Parameters

canvas : `matplotlib.backend_bases.FigureCanvasBase`

The FigureCanvas that contains all the axes.

axes : list of `matplotlib.axes.Axes`

The :None:None:`~.axes.Axes` to attach the cursor to.

useblit : bool, default: True

Use blitting for faster drawing if supported by the backend.

horizOn : bool, default: False

Whether to draw the horizontal line.

vertOn: bool, default: True :

Whether to draw the vertical line.

Provide a vertical (default) and/or horizontal line cursor shared between multiple axes.

Examples

See /gallery/widgets/multicursor .

Local connectivity graph

Hover to see nodes names; edges to Self not shown, Caped at 50 nodes.

Using a canvas is more power efficient and can get hundred of nodes ; but does not allow hyperlinks; , arrows or text (beyond on hover)

SVG is more flexible but power hungry; and does not scale well to 50 + nodes.

All aboves nodes referred to, (or are referred from) current nodes; Edges from Self to other have been omitted (or all nodes would be connected to the central node "self" which is not useful). Nodes are colored by the library they belong to, and scaled with the number of references pointing them
