matplotlib 3.5.1

After :

factory = _make_class_factory(FooMixin, fmt, attr_name)
FooAxes = factory(Axes)

Foo is a class that inherits from FooMixin and Axes and is picklable (picklability is what differentiates this from a plain call to :None:None:`type`). Its __name__ is set to fmt.format(Axes.__name__) and the base class is stored in the attr_name attribute, if not None.

Moreover, the return value of factory is memoized: calls with the same Axes class always return the same subclass.

Return a function that creates picklable classes inheriting from a mixin.

Examples

Local connectivity graph

Hover to see nodes names; edges to Self not shown, Caped at 50 nodes.

Using a canvas is more power efficient and can get hundred of nodes ; but does not allow hyperlinks; , arrows or text (beyond on hover)

SVG is more flexible but power hungry; and does not scale well to 50 + nodes.

All aboves nodes referred to, (or are referred from) current nodes; Edges from Self to other have been omitted (or all nodes would be connected to the central node "self" which is not useful). Nodes are colored by the library they belong to, and scaled with the number of references pointing them
