ParametersReturns
_multi_svd_norm(x, row_axis, col_axis, op)

This is a private utility function used by numpy.linalg.norm() .

Parameters

x : ndarray
row_axis, col_axis : int

The axes of x that hold the 2-D matrices.

op : callable

This should be either numpy.amin or numpy.amax or numpy.sum .

Returns

result : float or ndarray

If x is 2-D, the return values is a float. Otherwise, it is an array with x.ndim - 2 dimensions. The return values are either the minimum or maximum or sum of the singular values of the matrices, depending on whether :None:None:`op` is numpy.amin or numpy.amax or numpy.sum .

Compute a function of the singular values of the 2-D matrices in x.

Examples

See :

Local connectivity graph

Hover to see nodes names; edges to Self not shown, Caped at 50 nodes.

Using a canvas is more power efficient and can get hundred of nodes ; but does not allow hyperlinks; , arrows or text (beyond on hover)

SVG is more flexible but power hungry; and does not scale well to 50 + nodes.

All aboves nodes referred to, (or are referred from) current nodes; Edges from Self to other have been omitted (or all nodes would be connected to the central node "self" which is not useful). Nodes are colored by the library they belong to, and scaled with the number of references pointing them
