skimage 0.17.2

NotesParametersRaisesReturns
luv2xyz(luv, illuminant='D65', observer='2')

Notes

XYZ conversion weights use observer=2A. Reference whitepoint for D65 Illuminant, with XYZ tristimulus values of (95.047, 100., 108.883) . See function 'get_xyz_coords' for a list of supported illuminants.

Parameters

luv : (..., 3) array_like

The image in CIE-Luv format. Final dimension denotes channels.

illuminant : {"A", "D50", "D55", "D65", "D75", "E"}, optional

The name of the illuminant (the function is NOT case sensitive).

observer : {"2", "10"}, optional

The aperture angle of the observer.

Raises

ValueError

If :None:None:`luv` is not at least 2-D with shape (..., 3).

ValueError

If either the illuminant or the observer angle are not supported or unknown.

Returns

out : (..., 3) ndarray

The image in XYZ format. Same dimensions as input.

CIE-Luv to XYZ color space conversion.

Examples

Local connectivity graph

Hover to see nodes names; edges to Self not shown, Caped at 50 nodes.

Using a canvas is more power efficient and can get hundred of nodes ; but does not allow hyperlinks; , arrows or text (beyond on hover)

SVG is more flexible but power hungry; and does not scale well to 50 + nodes.

All aboves nodes referred to, (or are referred from) current nodes; Edges from Self to other have been omitted (or all nodes would be connected to the central node "self" which is not useful). Nodes are colored by the library they belong to, and scaled with the number of references pointing them
