To mimic np.ma
reductions, we need to convert scalar masked arrays that have an active mask to the np.ma.masked
singleton. This is properly handled automatically for reduction code, but not for ufuncs. We implement a simple version here, since calling :None:None:`np.ma.sqrt` everywhere is significantly more expensive.

All aboves nodes referred to, (or are referred from) current nodes; Edges from Self to other have been omitted (or all nodes would be connected to the central node "self" which is not useful). Nodes are colored by the library they belong to, and scaled with the number of references pointing them
