pandas 1.4.2

Parameters

Parameters

bins : the split index of binlabels to group the item of axis
binlabels : the label list
mutated : bool, default False
indexer : np.ndarray[np.intp]

This is an internal Grouper class

Examples

bins: [2, 4, 6, 8, 10] binlabels: DatetimeIndex(['2005-01-01', '2005-01-03', '2005-01-05', '2005-01-07', '2005-01-09'], dtype='datetime64[ns]', freq='2D')

the group_info, which contains the label of each item in grouped axis, the index of label in label list, group number, is

(array([0, 0, 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4, 4]), array([0, 1, 2, 3, 4]), 5)

means that, the grouped axis has 10 items, can be grouped into 5 labels, the first and second items belong to the first label, the third and forth items belong to the second label, and so on

See :

Local connectivity graph

Hover to see nodes names; edges to Self not shown, Caped at 50 nodes.

Using a canvas is more power efficient and can get hundred of nodes ; but does not allow hyperlinks; , arrows or text (beyond on hover)

SVG is more flexible but power hungry; and does not scale well to 50 + nodes.

All aboves nodes referred to, (or are referred from) current nodes; Edges from Self to other have been omitted (or all nodes would be connected to the central node "self" which is not useful). Nodes are colored by the library they belong to, and scaled with the number of references pointing them
