is_sequence(obj) -> bool

Parameters

obj : The object to check

Returns

is_sequence : bool

Whether :None:None:`obj` is a sequence of objects.

Check if the object is a sequence of objects. String types are not included as sequences here.

Examples

This example is valid syntax, but we were not able to check execution

>>> l = [1, 2, 3]
>>>

This example is valid syntax, but we were not able to check execution

>>> is_sequence(l)
True

This example is valid syntax, but we were not able to check execution

>>> is_sequence(iter(l))
False
